AVANTEC is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high positive milling tools. Established in 1989 by Gustav Werthwein, who then worked with a team of three, AVANTEC has evolved into a company of 140 employees with its own representatives in the United States, Italy, Austria and China.

We work in partnership with the engineering and production teams of machine tool manufacturers, OEMs, suppliers and many medium-sized manufacturers to develop innovative solutions and strategies for challenging tasks and materials – our high positive milling tools are being deployed with great success in sectors such as the automotive industry, at energy utilities, machine engineering enterprises and many other industries.
