umati (universal machine technology interface) is the global community for the dissemination and implementation of OPC UA standards in machinery.
umati has the objective of uniformly implementing different OPC UA specifications so that manufacturers of machines, components and software can provide their customers and users with genuine plug and play in the field of machinery. Manufacturers and users are jointly promoting the use of open interfaces in the production environment. This facilitates that machines and plants can communicate with each other or be integrated into customer- and user-specific IT ecosystems - easily, seamlessly and securely.
