EVT – Eye Vision Technology develops EyeVision, a hardware-independent machine vision software for industrial image processing, inspection and automation.

EVT offers EyeVision, a hardware-independent machine vision software platform for industrial image processing, inspection and automation.
EyeVision combines different machine vision technologies in one software environment. The software supports 1D, 2D and 3D image processing, AI/deep learning, robot vision, thermography, hyperspectral imaging, OCR/OCV, code reading, measurement technology and object recognition.
A major advantage of EyeVision is that users are not limited to one specific hardware manufacturer. The software can be used with different cameras, sensors, smart cameras, embedded systems and industrial PCs. Supported hardware includes matrix cameras, line scan cameras, color and grayscale cameras, thermal cameras and 3D sensors, with interfaces such as USB, GigE/GenICam, Camera Link, CoaXPress and MIPI.
EyeVision is designed to create machine vision applications without complex programming. Inspection programs are built through a graphical user interface with drag-and-drop commands. This allows users to configure, test and adapt inspection tasks more easily and directly in production environments.
Typical applications include quality inspection, surface inspection, dimensional measurement, presence checks, part recognition, object counting, OCR/OCV, barcode and Data Matrix code reading, robot guidance, bin picking and sorting tasks.
The software can be used for simple inspection tasks as well as complex automation applications. Different technologies and tools can be combined within the same EyeVision platform, allowing users to solve multiple machine vision tasks with one software system.
Based on EyeVision, EVT also provides ready-to-use systems such as the EyeSorter Checkbox for optical sorting tasks. This system is designed for fast part recognition, orientation control and quality inspection, especially for bowl feeders, conveyor belts and automated assembly lines.
